Journaling Cards???

Do you know those 12x12 sheets of journaling cards that come in your pack of scrapbook paper? I never use them on my layouts, i usually use the solid pattern on the reverse side or I don't buy them at all.  Well I was thinking one day and had a light bulb moment and thought to myself- hey, those would make super cute little cards.  So here they are.  I made these for my friend for her birthday (she almost didn't get them because they turned out so cute). The finished size of the cards are 4x3.  The journal card sheet and paper came from Echo Park's Hello Summer paper line.  I also used the digital elements with the traditional.  If you don't ever use these for journaling like me, then try your hand at some cards instead.  They were a lot of fun to make!

I Scream.... You Scream

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to share these way way cute projects that I got from SVG Cuts. I immediately fell in love with these adorable 3D ice cream cone treat holders.  I mean, who wouldn't want to get one of these for their birthday.  And the ice cream truck, cutest ever.  If you want to see them in person head on over to the SCRAPBOOK OUTLET in Bountiful where they are on display.  I used My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart Paper line.  The pastel colors were perfect for the nostalgia in these fun projects. While you are there you can check out my upcoming classes.  Or you can go to the scrapbook outlet link above and click on classes on the home page to see all of the classes being offered.  Fun Stuff!  Enjoy the pictures.  Sorry, don't know how to rotate my pictures yet.  Still a newbie!

Baby Stuff

My sister just had her baby a couple of weeks ago and didn't know whether it was going to be a boy or a girl.  I convinced her not to find out, but rather, have her nurse call and tell me the gender of the baby.  Since I knew what she was having I got to make her some fun stuff.  She would find something online and tell me what she liked for a boy  and for a girl, then I got to choose (or buy for her) the gender specific item.  Well, she had a sweet baby girl and I just wanted to share what i made for her.  She saw the peacock outfit and lace crown on pinterest, and the snuggie too I think.  After searching for patterns this is what i made.  Enjoy!

Father's Day card I made using traditional and digital papers and embellishments from Echo Park.  The line is called This &That Charming.  I also used this weeks card sketch from Mojo Monday.
